Paul Farrell
Paul is a Canadian forces veteran who served in overseas combat operations in Afghanistan with the First Battalion of the Royal Canadian Regiment (1 R.C.R) He later transferred to the Royal Canadian Air Force where he worked as an aviation technician.
Paul’s education background in law and security and human services field has solidified his passion in helping veterans. Paul’s volunteerism work has provided great opportunities to work with marginalized and underrepresented communities with various non profit organizations.
His has first-hand experience with mental health and the various treatments available for PTSD, while recognizing there is a significant lack of before and aftercare and a great need for community support, as it is vital to patient success. Unlike today many therapies weren’t available at the time or not offered only a plethora of pharmaceuticals options. With the lack of psychedelic and self healing information available, access, support and veteran representation in the field, AfterGlo Wellness Society Limited was founded.
Jennifer Sleeth
Jennifer is a highly ambitious implementation leader with a vast experience in management consultation, team building, professional development, strategic implementation, and company collaboration. Her strong sense for helping others, and wanting to better our community and lives of our Veterans has sparked her passion to be a part of the creation of AfterGlo Wellness Society Ltd. As a partner to a Canadian veteran, Jennifer has experienced first hand the struggles that our veterans go through on a regular basis when looking for help for mental health concerns. She has struggled with finding a lack of peer support for the families trying to help their vets, knowing how important that support and self healing is. Always looking at different ways to alleviate the stress that families and partners experience when helping their Veterans with different therapies is where Jen thrives!
