Vetted for Veterans

AfterGlo Wellness Society Ltd. is a Veteran-led, federally incorporated Canadian not-for-profit organization focused on improving mental-health outcomes for Veterans and first responders through research, education, advocacy and partnership.

We bring together Veterans, families, researchers, healthcare professionals, universities, governments, employers and community organizations to strengthen support for properly authorized clinical research and evidence-informed public education.

We do not provide medical treatment or advice, sell or distribute health products, or guarantee access to a clinical trial or treatment.

What We Do

RESEARCH

We support the development and public understanding of properly authorized, Veteran-focused mental-health research. We encourage collaboration involving academic institutions, qualified clinicians, governments, Veterans and first responders.

EDUCATE

We provide accessible, evidence-informed information about mental-health research, clinical trials and legal care pathways. We clearly distinguish emerging research from approved treatment and do not provide medical advice.

ADVOCATE

We advocate for Veterans and first responders to have meaningful roles in shaping research priorities, public policy and future clinical-trial opportunities. We support lawful, ethical and properly regulated research.

CONNECT

Through Answer the Call and our continuing outreach, we bring Veterans, families, researchers, healthcare professionals, governments, employers and community organizations into a coordinated national conversation.
