Answer the Call is a national community-engagement campaign led by AfterGlo Wellness Society.

We are travelling across Canada, bringing Veterans, first responders, families, researchers, clinicians and communities together to build support for better Veteran mental-health research.

We are not asking people to support a specific treatment or promising that one approach is the answer.

We’re asking Canadians to support the properly authorized research needed to find out what actually works, what is safe, and what could improve mental-health care for Veterans and first responders in the future.

Along the way, Answer the Call is helping AfterGlo:

  • connect communities with researchers and clinicians
  • hear directly from Veterans and first responders
  • build partnerships across Canada
  • increase public understanding of emerging mental-health research
  • demonstrate national support for responsible, evidence-based research

The goal is simple: better evidence, better options, and better futures for the people who served.
